Cancellation Approval by Admin: Cancellation requests, whether they are initiated by vendors or customers, must receive approval from the admin.
Vendor Initiated Cancellation:
Vendor's Right to Cancel: Vendors on our platform reserve the right to cancel an order in the following situations:
Notification: In the event of a vendor-initiated cancellation, the vendor will promptly notify the buyer of the cancellation and provide a clear explanation.
Refund: If a vendor cancels an order, the buyer will receive a full refund for any payments made for the canceled order.
Buyer Initiated Cancellation:
Buyer's Right to Cancel: Buyers may request the cancellation of an order for the following reasons:
Cancellation Window: Buyers are kindly requested to initiate cancellations within a reasonable time frame, typically within 5 minutes of placing their order
Vendor Approval: Vendor approval is required for buyer-initiated cancellations. Vendors have the discretion to accept or deny cancellation requests based on their individual policies.
Refund: If the vendor approves the cancellation, the buyer will receive a refund in accordance with the vendor's refund policy. Please refer to the specific vendor's refund policy for details.
Refund Processing:
Timing: Refunds for canceled orders will be processed promptly, usually within 2 business days after the cancellation is approved.
Payment Method: Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
Partial Cancellation: In cases where only part of an order is canceled, the refund will be calculated based on the canceled portion of the order.
Special Note: If the delivery personnel are en route, and in situations where the customer does not acknowledge a call attempt within a 30-minute window or mistakenly designates an address more than 2 kilometers distant from the accurate delivery location, no refund will be issued, and the full order amount will be liable to incurring a penalty.
Dispute Resolution:
In the event of a dispute related to cancellations or refunds, users are encouraged to resolve the matter amicably through our platform's dispute resolution process. If an agreement cannot be reached, the dispute will be resolved in accordance with Indian law.
Changes to Cancellation Policy:
GROCERY BIDS SERVICES PVT LTD reserves the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time. Users will be notified of changes through our platform. Continued use of our platform after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated cancellation policy.
