Refund Policy

Thank you for using Grocery bids. We value your trust in our platform and are committed to providing the best possible service to our users. This Refund Policy outlines our guidelines for refunds on purchases made through our platform. Please read this policy carefully:

1. Refund Eligibility

1.1 Vendor Cancellation: If a vendor cancels an order, the buyer is eligible for a full refund of any payments made for the canceled order.

1.2 Buyer-Initiated Refunds: Customers can initiate refund requests under the following circumstances:

  • Receive Expiry Product: If a customer receives a product that has expired , they are eligible for a refund.

  • Damage Product: If a customer receives a damaged product that is unusable or unsafe to use, they are eligible for a refund.

  • Product Not Matching Description: If a delivered product does not match the description provided by the vendor and does not meet reasonable expectations, the buyer may be eligible for a refund.

  • Weight or Image Discrepancy: If the actual product received significantly differs in weight or appearance from what was described by the vendor, and the difference is not due to lighting conditions or minor variations, the buyer may be eligible for a refund.

2. Refund Request Process

2.1 Vendor Initiated Refunds: If a vendor cancels an order or agrees to a refund, they are responsible for initiating the refund process. Buyers will be notified of the refund, and the funds will be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase.

2.2 Buyer-Initiated Refunds: If a buyer wishes to request a refund for an eligible order, they must contact the Grocery bids support to our platform to initiate the refund process. The Grocery bids support team will review the request and may approve or deny it based on their policies.

2.3 Dispute Resolution: If a refund dispute arises between a vendor and a buyer, we encourage both parties to engage in our platform's dispute resolution process to reach an amicable resolution. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter will be resolved in accordance with Indian law.

3. Refund Processing

3.1 Timing: Refunds for eligible orders will be processed promptly, usually within [number of days] business days after the refund request is approved by the vendor or resolved through dispute resolution.

3.2 Payment Method: Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase .

4. No Refund Policy

4.1 Change of Mind: We do not provide refunds for cancellations initiated by buyers solely due to a change of mind after the product or service has been delivered or performed.

Special Note: If the delivery personnel are en route, and in situations where the customer does not acknowledge a call attempt within a 30-minute window or mistakenly designates an address more than 2 kilometers distant from the accurate delivery location, no refund will be issued, and the full order amount will be liable to incurring a penalty.

5. Changes to Refund Policy

GROCERY BIDS SERVICES PVT LTD reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Users will be notified of changes through our platform. Continued use of our platform after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated refund policy.
